While mountain bikers typically ride on narrow single track, and road riders on paved roads, gravel riders seek quiet, less traveled, unpaved roads out in the country. The ideal bike for our Gravel Tours is a gravel bike, or as very popular at the moment in Europe, a cycle cross bike. Bring your own or rent one of our top-end Silverback bikes that are designed for the terrain we cycle on. Our tubeless conversion will leave you smiling as punctures are a thing of the past. We have a selection of tours online with more in the planning. From a weekend getaway to a multi-day excursion along the Garden Route or through the Little Karoo. The distances cycled will vary and depend on that specific tour and range from 30 km to 110 km. Should you not find a tour suited for your experience or time frame, we can custom design the perfect getaway for you and your friends.

Just 45 minutes drive from Cape Town we find some of the finest trails to ride. Be it single track for the ace or those new to mountain biking, we have what you are looking for. You can chat with us at the time of your booking or to your guide in the morning.

All our tours are private. We offer mountain biking trips which make use of specially built bike parks with a network of hand-built single trail, but also quiet country roads, wilderness area’s as well as 4x4 tracks.

Our cycling programs are carefully planned to ensure a smooth-running holiday you will never forget. Our cycling tours on the Garden Route either start in George and head into the Little Karoo or start in Plettenberg Bay and follow the road less travelled along the Outeniqua mountain range. We also visit Oudtshoorn and traverse the Little Karoo while heading to the Cape Wine Lands to finish in Cape Town.

Cycle around the Cape Peninsula seeing the penguins at Boulders, cycle to the Cape of Good Hope, and see Cape Point or cycle the Whale Route from Hermanus following the coastline along Clarens Drive to finish in Gordon’s Bay.
